Job Description

Position: Sales Engineer 

Work Location: Arrow Energy Co., Ltd / Off-site

Job Summary: The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing support and technical expertise during the sales process. This role involves working with the sales team to understand customer needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and develop business solutions tailored to customer requirements. Suitable candidates should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect between the technical team and customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contact and plan customer visits to present products and services (Visit planning)
  2. Prepare company profile to build credibility for the company, prepare product presentations, including catalogs and documents related to products of customer interest for targeted presentations (Prepare presentation)
  3. Discuss and listen to customer problems to understand their product and service needs (Create enquiry)
  4. Forward information about products and services required by customers to Support, Service, and R&D teams to find solutions that meet customer needs (Find solutions)
  5. Develop pricing strategies that create competitive advantages for the company, including strategies to win against other bidders (Making strategy)
  6. Request pricing from the Support team to create quotations (Making quotation)
  7. Follow up on quotations, consult with supervisors for price negotiations until receiving purchase confirmation (Follow up until get PO)
  8. Create sales order (SO) documents to inform the team after receiving PO from customers (Booking sales order)
  9. Coordinate with the engineering department, transfer project information to the service department, participate in kick-off meetings with customers (Kick-off meeting)
  10. Review customer procurement contracts with accounting and legal departments, if applicable (Checking sales contract)
  11. Monitor product delivery status/operations from the team and provide updates to customers (Follow up job status)
  12. After delivering products and services, prepare handover documents (HD) and coordinate with accounting to issue billing (Handover to invoice)
  13. Follow up on feedback regarding product and service quality from customers; if problems arise, coordinate with the team for resolution (After sales service)
  14. Maintain good relationships with existing customers and build good relationships with new customers (Building good relationships)
  15. Build good relationships with colleagues, provide mutual assistance, work as a team (Team work)
  16. Dress appropriately, maintain cleanliness, create a good self-image to present professionalism for the company (Present your good image)
  17. Update sales status on various company platforms, including updating forecasts and reporting sales results to supervisors (Sales reporting)
  18. Maintain sales department document forms in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standard management system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Experience in a Sales Engineer position or technical support role, with experience in relevant industries or sectors being especially considered
  • Good technical knowledge of products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical groups
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to develop business solutions to meet customer needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Position: Senior Research & Development Engineer

Position Summary: The Senior Research & Development Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of new products and technologies. This role requires a strong technical foundation, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead R&D projects to develop new products and improve existing technologies
  2. Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify innovation opportunities
  3. Create detailed design specifications and prototypes for new products
  4. Use simulation and modeling tools to validate designs and optimize performance
  5. Plan and execute tests to verify product performance and compliance with industry standards
  6. Analyze test results and modify designs as necessary
  7. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure product goals are aligned
  8. Promote communication between stakeholders to drive project success
  9. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for R&D projects

Qualifications:

Position: Support Sales Engineer  Work Location: Arrow Energy Co., Ltd / Off-site Position Summary: The Support Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in connecting technical approaches with sales efforts. This position involves providing technical expertise and consultation to the sales team, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring product implementation and support. Responsibilities:
  1. Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team by answering customer questions and demonstrating product capabilities (knowledge and expertise in boiler systems and dust collection equipment will be especially considered)
  2. Assist in preparing technical proposals, product demonstrations, and presentations
  3. Coordinate with the sales department in discussions with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
  4. Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support sales strategies
  5. Help resolve technical issues reported by customers during the sales process by coordinating with the support team and engineering team to solve complex technical problems
  6. Record information about customer contacts, technical issues, and problem resolutions
  7. Prepare reports on customer feedback, sales support activities, and product performance
  8. Update information about the latest products, industry trends, and competitive situations in sales team meetings by working with the sales department
  9. Support post-sales operations to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance (monitoring the status of products under responsibility: managing the status of company-owned products, including checking availability and ordering additional items when necessary by coordinating with the engineering department)
  10. Prepare necessary information, such as requesting prices for customer orders from partners, and provide recommendations to assist the sales department
  11. Order products according to Sales Orders and track product delivery from partners
  12. Help prepare quotations and proposals for the sales department
  13. Provide assistance to the sales department and management according to their requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical fields will be especially considered) or related fields
  • Experience in technical support roles, sales engineering, or related fields

Position: Project Engineer

Job Summary: The Project Engineer manages engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets. This role involves technical coordination, safety oversight, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and clarify sales orders (SO), project scope, and related documents.
  2. Participate in kick-off meetings with clients and summarize minute of meeting (MOM).
  3. Making work plans based on client schedule (TOR).
  4. Risks management before project starts to ensure safety and mitigate potential losses.
  5. Assist in selecting contractors and advise on materials resources to purchase team.
  6. Prepare equipment and materials, conduct health checks, and arrange training as required.
  7. Survey the site, existing conditions, and create a Before-After comparison document.
  8. Making site regulations to maintain a positive company image.
  9. Morning talk for daily work plans and check staff readiness.
  10. Ensure timely project completion as per work plan.
  11. Ensure work meets quality standards.
  12. Monitor safety on-site.
  13. Manage project costs to stay within budget.
  14. Maintain cleanliness and discipline on-site.
  15. Prepare daily progress reports and update to the client.
  16. Resolve on-site issues to ensure project completion.
  17. Evaluate contractor performance upon project completion.
  18. Prepare handover document (HD) and coordinate with accounting for invoicing.
  19. Follow up on customer satisfaction and post-project performance.
  20. Collaboration with colleagues for teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
  • Experience in project engineering or management.
